APTS Turn Pro ("we," "us," or "our") operates apartment turn management and damage recovery software, including a website at aptsturnpro.com and mobile applications for iOS and Android (collectively, the "Services"). Access is by invitation only — accounts are created by your organization's administrator and activated via a secure email invitation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect across all platforms, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We never sell your personal data. By activating your invitation and using our Services, you agree to this policy.
1. Overview
APTS Turn Pro provides apartment turn management and damage recovery software for multifamily property owners and managers. Our platform includes a mobile inspection app (iOS and Android), secure cloud video storage, and expert damage reporting to help property teams capture, document, and recover damage revenue efficiently.
Access to APTS Turn Pro is by invitation only. Users do not self-register. Accounts are created by your organization's administrator, and you receive an email invitation to activate your account and set your credentials.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
The APTS Turn Pro website at aptsturnpro.com
The APTS Turn Pro mobile application on Apple iOS (iPhone and iPad)
The APTS Turn Pro mobile application on Android
All related Services, APIs, and communications
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use our Services, and information from your device when using our mobile app.
Information You Provide
Account & Profile: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and job title — provided by your organization's administrator when your account is created on your behalf. You activate your account via an invitation link sent to your email. We do not offer public self-registration.
Property & Unit Data: Property names, addresses, unit numbers, lease information, and related records you enter into the platform.
Inspection Media: Videos and photos recorded or uploaded through the mobile app for damage documentation and reporting.
Information Collected Automatically
Device Information: Device model, OS version (iOS/Android), unique device identifiers, and mobile network info.
Location Data: Approximate location (from IP) on web. Precise GPS on mobile only when you grant permission, to associate inspections with unit addresses.
Usage Data: Screens visited, features used, session duration, crash reports, and error logs.
Log Data: IP address, browser type, app version, timestamps, and referring URLs.
We do not collect: Social Security numbers, government-issued IDs, financial account numbers, payment card data, or health/biometric data.
3. Mobile App Permissions (iOS & Android)
Our mobile app requests only the permissions necessary to deliver core functionality. You will be prompted before any permission is used and can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings.
Permission
Why We Need It

To record inspection videos and capture photos of unit conditions for damage reports. This is the core function of the app.
Required
Microphone
To capture audio during inspection video recordings so inspectors can narrate damage observations.
Required
Photo Library
To allow uploading of existing photos or videos from your device to supplement an inspection report.
Optional
Location
To automatically associate an inspection with the correct property address and verify on-site presence during an inspection.
Optional
Notifications
To deliver report completion alerts, inspection reminders, and important account notifications.
Optional
Network Access
To upload inspection videos to secure cloud storage and sync data with the APTS Turn Pro platform.
Required
Revoke at any time: iOS — Settings → APTS Turn Pro. Android — Settings → Apps → APTS Turn Pro → Permissions. Revoking required permissions will limit certain app features.
iOS — App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple requires apps to request permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites. We do not engage in cross-app advertising tracking. If an ATT prompt appears, you may safely choose "Ask App Not to Track" with no impact on core functionality.
Android — Data Safety
In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, we disclose in our Play Store listing which data types our app collects, whether data is shared with third parties, and that all data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information strictly to provide and improve our Services:
Operate, maintain, and improve the APTS Turn Pro platform and mobile apps
Process inspection video uploads and generate damage reports
Respond to support requests and customer inquiries
Send product updates or marketing emails (opt out at any time)
Analyze aggregated usage trends to improve platform performance
Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
We do not use inspection videos, property data, or personal information to train AI/ML models, build advertising profiles, or sell data to any third party.
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only in these limited circumstances:
Service Providers: Trusted vendors for cloud hosting, video storage, email delivery, crash analytics, and support tools. All are under written data processing agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Within Your Organization: Because accounts are provisioned by your organization's administrator, data you enter into the platform — including inspections and reports — is visible to other authorized users within your company account, as configured by your administrator.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect user or public safety.
Business Transfers: In the event of acquisition or asset sale, your data may transfer to the successor entity. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different policy.
We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.
6. Data Storage & Security
All data — including inspection videos, damage reports, and account information — is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with:
Encryption in transit: TLS 1.2 or higher for all data transfers (app and web)
Encryption at rest: AES-256 for stored files and databases
Access controls: Role-based, least-privilege access; only authorized personnel may access your data
Audit logging: All access to sensitive data is logged and monitored
Security reviews: Regular vulnerability assessments and security audits
While we implement industry-standard safeguards, no electronic system is completely immune to risk. Please use strong, unique passwords and report suspected security issues to privacy@aptsturnpro.com.
7. Data Retention
Account data: Retained while your account is active and for 90 days after closure for reactivation or dispute resolution.
Inspection videos & damage reports: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months for potential legal or lease dispute purposes, unless you request earlier deletion.
Usage and analytics data: Aggregated data up to 24 months; raw logs up to 12 months.
After retention periods expire, data is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
8. Account & Data Deletion
Both the Apple App Store and Google Play require apps that support accounts to provide users a way to delete their account and associated data. Although accounts on APTS Turn Pro are created and managed by your organization's administrator (not self-registered), we fully support and honor every user's right to request deletion of their personal data.
You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. Requests are processed within 30 days.
How to Request Deletion
In-App (iOS & Android): Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the APTS Turn Pro app. Confirm when prompted. Your personal data will be scheduled for permanent removal.
Web Platform: Log in at aptsturnpro.com, navigate to Account Settings → Privacy → Request Data Deletion, and follow the confirmation steps.
By Email: Email privacy@aptsturnpro.com from your work email address associated with your account, with subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
Via Your Administrator: Since accounts are provisioned by your organization's administrator, you may also contact your administrator directly to request that your account and associated data be removed from the platform.
What Gets Deleted
Your user profile, name, email, and contact information
All inspection videos and photos you uploaded
Damage reports tied solely to your personal account
App preferences, notification settings, and usage history
What We May Retain
Legal retention exceptions: We may retain certain data where legally required — records needed to resolve an active legal dispute, and anonymized/aggregated data that cannot identify you.
If your account is managed by your employer or a property management company, the account administrator may need to process the deletion on the organization's behalf. Contact your administrator or reach out to us directly.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: Request a copy of all personal information we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data (see Section 8).

Restrict Processing: Ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
Object to Processing: Object to our processing in certain circumstances.
The APTS Turn Pro mobile app may send push notifications to:
Notify you when a damage report is ready for review
Send reminders for scheduled or overdue unit inspections
Deliver important account and security alerts
You will be prompted to grant permission on both iOS and Android before any notifications are sent. You can manage or disable notifications at any time via device settings (iOS: Settings → Notifications → APTS Turn Pro; Android: Settings → Apps → APTS Turn Pro → Notifications) or inside the app under Settings → Notifications.
Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the app; you will continue to receive information by email.
